Specializing in arthroscopy, shoulder and knee reconstruction, sports medicine and joint replacement, Dr. Hyde’s career spans nearly two decades in Austin following a stellar academic career.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from Yale University in 1979, Dr. Hyde earned her M.D. from Texas Tech University in 1986, where she ranked third in her class. Upon graduation, she interned and performed her residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, followed by extensive post-graduate training at the Yale University School of Medicine, where she received a Fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Knee Construction.

Widely recognized as a leader in the field of reconstructive surgery on the knee, Dr. Hyde has co-authored two abstracts and two papers published in Cancer Treatment Research and Biochemical Pharmacology. She has been a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon since 1994.
