Elbow Fractures

Elbow fractures may occur at any location within the elbow joint. The elbow joint is comprised of the forearm bones, the radius and ulna, and/or the upper arm bone, or humerus. Elbow fractures may be the result of a falling accident, either on an outstretched hand or directly onto the elbow. Extending, or twisting the elbow beyond normal range of motion as well as blows directly to the elbow may also be the cause of injury.
