Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis is a systemic inflammatory disorder affecting the joints. Classified as an autoimmune disorder, the immune system mistakenly attacks the body's own tissues, resulting in joint damage, deformity and lose of function.

Orthopedic surgical procedures can improve some of the damage and discomfort caused by this chronic disease.
